St. Barnabas Anglican Church was established in Heber Springs, Arkansas, in September, 2007 as a mission congregation in the United Episcopal Church of North America (UECNA).

We are liturgical, sacramental, traditional in faith and practice, historically accurate, scripturally sound, and apostolically valid.

We Proclaim

First and foremost, we are disciples of Jesus Christ. Our identity is bound up in his identity as the Son of God and Savior of mankind.

Our doctrinal allegiance is to the Bible. We hold to the doctrines of the Protestant and Reformed faith as summarized in the Thirty-nine Articles of Religion.

Church Season: “Ordinary Time”

This longest liturgical season is “Ordinary Time,” or the “Time of the Church” (“X Sunday after Trinity”) that begins on the Sunday after Epiphany and runs through the Saturday before the First Sunday of Advent. During this season we explore the mission of the church in terms of daily living in Christian faith and the meaning of Christ’s resurrection in ordinary life.
